First Time Visitor?

 

Welcome to Encanto Southern Baptist Church
If you are planning to visit Encanto SBC for the first time, here is some information that might be helpful.

 

 What to Expect During Your Visit to Encanto SBC?

  •  Friendly Environment.
  • Worshiping through Song (feel free to sing along with the congregation when you are comfortable doing so).
  • Prayer
  • Reading of Scripture (don't worry if you don't already have a Bible, one will be waiting on your chair when you arrive).
  • The Teaching of God's Word in a practical way that can be applied to our daily living.
  • Worship through giving (as a guest do not feel obligated to give, offering is for regular attenders and members who consider Encanto their church home; as a guest we ask only that you fill out the communication card that you are given). 
  • Worshiping the Lord in the taking of communion (this is for those who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ)

 

What Do I Wear?

-Come as you are.  Most come casual while others dress "up" (suit & tie); basically come in what you feel comfortable in.

 

When Do I Need to Arrive?

 Worship services start at 8:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. every Sunday; when attending one of these services plan to arrive 10 minutes early so that you can park and find a seat in the sanctuary. Both services start promptly at 8:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.  For first time visitors we have special parking spots just for you (right next to the worship center).  If you are running late that's okay, just make your way quietly into the sanctaury, the ushers will gladly greet you and find you a seat.

 

 

Are There Programs Available for My Children?

 For those with small children, ages 1 through 5, check-in for the nursery is the education building in room # 2.  We want you to be able to enjoy the worship service while your children enjoy themselves with our friendly and experienced nursery director and staff. (Currently, the nursery is only available during 11:00 A.M. Morning Worship Service). For children ages 5-12, Children's Church is available in the education building during 11:00 A.M. Morning Worship.

Encanto SBC Grounds

 

Sunday School starts @ 9:30 A.M.  There are classes available for all ages.  Come early and enjoy fellowship and maybe even a donut or two between 9:00 and 9:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall.
